• All dogs staying with us need to be vaccinated with their yearly boosters up to date and a vaccination card must be shown on arrival. We also require an annual kennel cough vaccine. This is the only way we can try to prevent kennel cough from entering our kennels. This vaccine must be given more than twenty-one days before entering kennels both for first time users or for a continuation.
  • Please also ensure your dog has a regular flea treatment with a reliable preparation and has been regularly wormed.
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry to any dog showing signs of illness.
  • In the event your dog becomes ill whilst in kennels we reserve the right to call a veterinary surgeon and act upon their advice if we are unable to contact you. We are fully insured but the initial excess payment will be your responsibility. Insurance does not cover pre existing conditions.
  • If medication is required please notify the kennels in advance. Administering medication will be undertaken without charge providing the dog will accept without resistance.
  • Please note we operate a minimum stay policy of 3 nights/4 days during peak periods.
  • Boarding fees are charged for the full booking period and we regret we are unable to give a refund or reduction should your dog be collected before the due date of departure so please be sure of your dates when first booking. A deposit may be required at peak periods.
  • Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day boarding is subject to a supplement.
  • An emergency contact number for a person within the UK must be provided.
  • All dogs are boarded entirely at the owners risk whilst staying at Elderberry Kennels and whilst all reasonable care and attention is given the management cannot accept any liability.
